The Community Foundation Networking Group offers Community Foundation members the opportunity to come together to explore key issues relevant to Community Foundation from around the Commonwealth, share best practices and resources, and connect with one another.
Purpose Statement
The Community Foundation Networking Group creates an opportunity for Community Foundations in the Network to build relationships with one another, learn together, and identify potential ways to collaborate.
Goals
The goals of the Community Foundation Networking Group are to:
Provide opportunities for Community Foundation leaders from around the Network to connect regularly, learn from one another, and share best practices to elevate their work.
Introduce new ideas or existing member programs that are relevant and can be implemented by other Community Foundations.
Engage quarterly in virtual or in-person convenings with ongoing communication available through the Network’s Google Group.
Provide educational sessions about key issues that are being discussed in other VFN working groups and that are important to Community Foundation leaders.
Leadership
The Community Foundation Networking Group is co-chaired by:
Teri McNally | The Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region
Sari Raskin | Community Foundation for Northern Virginia

It was just nice to hear from CF leaders across Virginia, especially their adaptations to a post-COVID world. Would love to have these as ‘think-tank’ sessions in the future! Or to even just share ideas from fellow ‘experts’ in the field.
