About

The Health Funders Networking Group offers members the opportunity to interact and connect with other Virginia funders working to improve health outcomes in the Commonwealth. Through the Networking Group, members learn, share experiences, build community, create partnerships, and, where appropriate, advocate for policy solutions.

Purpose
Statement

The purpose of the Health Funders Networking Group is to expand our understanding of the social, economic, and environmental factors that shape our health and well-being in Virginia.

Goals

The goals of the Health Funders Networking Group are to:

Build on the momentum of the successes of Virginia Consortium for Health Philanthropy.
Inform and educate the membership on state and regional opportunities for actionable strategies and collaboration on program and advocacy.
Empower funders and communities with the data, knowledge and tools needed for Virginians to live a healthy life.
Work toward educating members on the social determinants of health impacting Virginia’s residents.
